A week after House Republicans retreated to Maryland’s Eastern Shore to plot their policy agenda for 2014, some of the chamber’s leading conservatives will gather on Capitol Hill this week to share their perspectives.

Wednesday marks the next Conversations with Conservatives event. The monthly briefing begins at 11 a.m. ET. The Foundry will carry it live.

Conversations with Conservatives was started in March 2012 by a group of free-market and liberty-minded members of Congress. The meeting is led by Representatives Raúl Labrador (R-ID), Tim Huelskamp (R-KS), and Jim Jordan (R-OH).

Each meeting features different conservative members of Congress. Participants at the February session include Labrador, Huelskamp, and Jordan, along with Representatives Joe Barton (R-TX), Jeff Duncan (R-SC), Vicky Hartzler (R-MO), and Cynthia Lummis (R-WY). Additional participants may join.

While questions are not limited to particular topics, lawmakers are expected to discuss the GOP retreat, immigration, health care, among other topics.
